MEMBERSHIP:
AAUW membership is open to women and men with an Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Membership is not by invitation
If you hold an associates’s or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW as a member of one of AAUW’s 1,000 affiliates or as a member-at-large. Affiliate members also belong to the national organization affiliate.
In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
Affiliate meetings are open to all.
DUES FOR THE VALPARAISO AFFILIATE: Annual dues include local, division (state) and national fees. Currently, these fees total $89.00 per year, payable June 1st and delinquent after June 30th. Of the $89.00, $10.00 stays at our local affiliate, $7.00 is paid to Indiana AAUW, and the remaining $72.00 goes to the national association. Of the $72.00 national dues, $69.00 is tax deductible.
